Code of Ethics Training

In November 2019 the National Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors approved a change to the Code of Ethics (COE) training requirement, extending it from every two years to every three years.

  • The current Cycle 7 began Jan. 1, 2022, and ends Dec. 31, 2024.

Certificates

In order to meet the Code of Ethics learning objectives approved by the National Association of REALTORS®, KWAOR accepts Code of Ethics certificates from the following KWAOR approved training providers for Cycle 7:

NAR
RIAR
McKissock Online CE
The CE Shop
RI School of Real Estate
Coldwell Banker Realty
Keep Me Certified
Additional Accepted Certificates*

*Can a member satisfy the training requirement by taking a course from an approved provider at an association that is not their primary board?

Yes. Consistent with current NAR policy, members who take a course at a different association of REALTORS®, will satisfy the Code of Ethics training requirement. If a member takes a course through a partnered provider of an association in their own state or a neighboring state, an association must accept it for the Code of Ethics training requirement. If a course is taken from a partnered provider outside of those limits, it is up to each local association if they choose to accept it.
