Why Become a Member?
Getting your real estate license doesn’t make you a REALTOR®. The terms REALTOR®, REALTOR-ASSOCIATE®, and REALTORS® are registered trademarks of the National Association of REALTORS®.
KWAOR membership means committing to a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice — a pledge to treat every buyer and seller with fairness and integrity. Since 1916, the public has recognized REALTORS® as professionals held to that higher standard.
Beyond a license, a REALTOR® is a member of a professional trade association — in our case KWAOR, the Rhode Island Association of REALTORS® (RIAR), and NAR. Together, these associations work to protect property values and the rights of private property owners.
